Best plane for Dog Fights?

I like Yak3 for history, for its style, for its name but I think the LA5-Fn is somewhat superior to the Yak3 in the game.

The La-5FN has a larger more powerful engine. And heavier guns, those are all the La-5FN or other La's have going against the Yak-3. But I still like them all the same, Yak-3 or La-5FN? I fly both quite frequently and have many kills with both.

EDIT: Also, when flying Soviet planes i.e. Yak-1, 9, 3, and La-5FN, 7. Have the Aileron and Elevator sensitivity all the way maxed to the top. Like it was said before, you unleash the planes full potential as a killer.

Well as long as you fly Soviet Aircraft, I'll be your wingman Nothing beats the sight of 2-3 Yak-3s flying in a "Finger Four" like formation.

I think seeing those 3 yaks going down in flames, would definitely beat that sight
