From what I've read and played in IL-2:1946 (which isn't much ), I may be able to help you out. So, if you're playing on sim, maybe I know a thing or two.

LOL. Im a sucker for british aircraft and i guess if i could just have one choice id fly the Hurricane because its fast with a truckload of MG and i love their shape always have, you name it ive been shot down by it . Im doing all the missions in realistic and it does help but using the cockpit view is hard especially bombing.

HAWX does have an option where its pits only, but its still a far worse game than BOP. I am so glad it was one of the games I traded in for BOP.
