low lod for aircrafts tuned, will it help me?

I dont want to see it sooner, I STILL want to see it when it comes closer . just hate it to be able to see someone at 4km, but him being invisible at 2km. makes no sence

sooner is ok, but the ability to still see it up close, is what I was hoping for
