I mostly play offline on the PC, but I use high Yo-yo's myself. That way I keep my energy, but can still get inside them, and if you'e coming down with a high deflection, they can't get a bead on you before you're out of range. If you do this on someone who in a low turn fight, and they try to engage you, you get them low, slow, and going in a semi-straight line.
The problem is, you're very vulnerable at the peak of the yo-yo. If someone else is above you, they can pounce you while you're slow at a high angle of attack. On the other hand, yo-yo's and vertical turns are the only way I've found for BnZ planes to get inside TnBers in a turn fight. Ya picks ya poison. |
