But perhaps they are just staying quiet until the enemy gets close enough for them to jump out of the trees.
Would actually be a nice feature if Jap units could use their famous battle cries before/during an attack, it could be used startle the targets allowing them to get off the first few shots, or reduce morale, but unfortunately MoW doesn't take into account morale of units as ToW does.
