To start with a few basic checks.

Power supply is ok and all leads are fitted tightly ?

Is the graphics card overheating ?

Has the casing adequate cooling, all fans are running ok ?

Check the ram modules are seated correctly and dust free.

If all's ok

IL2 1946 v4.09mod AAA UI v1.1 + bunch of mods.My configuration was functionally , I played about ten campaigns (modded and unmodded) in various stages no problem, after 4 hours of playing I switched campaign from VVS to USAAF and crash.Started again change another campaign and crash.Sometimes I can play 2-3 missions in row and than crash sometimes crash immediately when load first.
Re-intsall IL12 1946 ( don't delete your modded version ) into a separate directory from modded version.

Patch to v408m ONLY

Run the sim and see if its stable, if it is then start from there to find what's causing the problem by adding your mods etc one at a time.

Dont forget some MODS are graphics intensive, your GPU isn't really up to running IL21946 with anything but mid to low settings.

Just to state that mods are not supported at this site refer to the site you got your MODS from, you may find this thread deleted by the moderator/s
