P51's suck and IL's are massively over spec'd, why is this such a shocking thing to say?

Could you plz just note the fact that 'they admitted it, and fixed it. and that the flight model is not the error'.

So the P51-B sucks, the P51-D sucks and the B17 falls out of the sky by simply looking at it funny.

The IL-10 is for all intents and purposes invinicble and has a rear auto gunner like a sniper on steriods, the YAK's can out turn even small birds.

And all of this is a simple accident and has nothing to do with a bit of bias?

How I wish I could live in the blinkered world too!

Edit - Exactly when dd they fix the P51? As at today its still slow and wing overs if you apply even the smallest nudge on the rudder and stalls at anything under 300mph?

they fixed the P-51, the B-17 is allready overpowerd and all that is nerfed is good for balance.


I have never had any problem flying my spit against a yak. The yak was a good plane! yeah... the russians did make some of the best/ the best planes of WW2.

the IL-2... you get shot down by that gunner... good for you. It is a bit too hard to take down.. but hey.. the game is called IL-2, and some love for the motherland is ok right . this has nothing to do with hating america .
