Wireless or hardwired for MP on PS3?

I have a PS3 that gets it's connection via a good wireless source. Should I take the time to hardwire the system or does it really matter?

It shouldn't matter unless you're seeing interference from items around the house (microwave is notorious).

I use wireless for everything in my house, and have never had any problems with games.

I have mine hardwired and my computer wireless. I had my router in the other room so I did notice some lag. So I moved it to my living room hardwired it and haven't had a problem since.
