I have HoE and will probably trade it in when Borderlands comes out. I love BoP but I also had a lot of nostalgia still for Heros over the Pacific, so I went ahead and got HoE and man was I let down. I knew it wasn't gonna be remotely sim but they really went over the top on this one. My guess is Ubisoft didn't have much of a hand in the development of this one because their other products of late have been quality and this one, not so much. it's sad really.

I returned my copy today to gamestop, and prepaid the new Halo.
Like I said, I am a huge HOTP fan and was looking forward to the sequel. The sequel is a complete let down, most likely the product of running out of Dev money.

Not trying to bash the game, just being honest. The game doesn't have features or menus present in the original game(and only 14 campaign missions), nor the variety in the online choices(only 4 modes and 4 maps).

Thanks for the review Fritz!! I am also a fan of "Heroes of the Pacific" and was hoping HOE was going to be a good. Seeing all the lack luster reviews has told me otherwise. Thanks for speaking the truth...

Does anyone know what happened? Several people have said they ran out of money, but wasn't Ubisoft behind them?
