The poor old (ex) Me109 broke of the fight and really tried get back home after some time. I did hit him a few times, but no smoke. So i assumed he ran out of fuel to continue longer. Other Me109's where heading back also. Not an expert. But considering the range of the Me109 it does make sense. In 1940 they didn't have an awfull long time to stay and play over England.

And maybe that's one of the strong parts of this game. I'm pretty sure they included alot of stuff that is historically correct. And maybe sometimes i (we) are seeing things that does make sense considering the events that took place, but they are not 'coded' into the game. Frankly i don't care since it only draws me more into the game. =)
