Yeah, it's just a pain that my first spell in a fight is -always- Dragon Arrows ( well 9/10 fights ), because they're so powerful lol ( Spell balance is going to be another topic sometimes soon ) I'd like to cast mass precision sometime as well haha. Ah well, I guess that's down to playing on normal where most fights never make it past 3 or 4 rounds.

I don't always need to, even out of range I have so many of them and so many buffs to ranged combat from items I can sometimes kill stacks without using dragon arrows. Which means my first spell in those cases is usually mass precision. Sometimes I'll use mass haste instead; depending on what I have in my army at the time. Sometimes I can risk running my skeleton archers forward a little so that they're not taking "out of range" penalties.
