Anga's Ruby + Cursed Ghosts

Does Anga's Ruby work with Cursed Ghosts? They look and sound pretty female to me, I equipped the ring and checked the Ghost stats, then took it off and checked again, but it didn't seem to make any difference, but then I wondered if maybe bonus' from items wouldn't show on there. I looked around but couldn't find a list of what counts ( though I remember seeing one somewhere ) but couldn't find anything.
