Last year I bought a DVD version of IL-2 1946 by Amazon to a Canadian retailer. And I left it on a shelf and forgot about it. Several weeks ago, I had to reinstall IL2 and assumed it would be a good opportunity to test the new dvd. The box is identical to the one I have from the first version, and it came sealed. But the latter has only one dvd as a remarkable difference. Well... the installation was successfull. But the game doesn't run at all and CTD with errors. Of course, finally I reinstalled IL2-1946 using the earliest version. But the discs are not eternal, and I hate Steam. So I must to preserve the 'Jewel' carefully as best as I can, to be used when it is needed. I believe my advise might be useful for other players, if they have only a single copy Mmh... I should have bought two copies of the original version when it was released. ![]() Did you say $384 ? It could be... Do you accept Visa? |
