Great stuff. I didn't read it all to avoid "spoiling" my game, but it's a nice effort

Two things though :
1) yellow on yellow is really hard to read...
2) you missed at least one (harmless) enemy : the "gatekeepers" sitting on the ground and hitting their bowl to get your attention. You don't fight them but they deserve a description I think.

The in-game screenshot function doesn't seem to work, so you'd rather use Fraps. The free version saves pictures as .bmp, but you can easily convert them to jpeg afterwards.
