Only last week I tested the Fw190A4 against Spit MkV and MkIX in the game with a buddy of mine and we reached somewhat different conclusions!

Let's forget about the climb/speed performance of the FW 190 in the game, enough has been said I think. However, this bit was new to me:

Funny, in an online game I find this much harder. If the guy in the Spit (or other good turning fighter) sees you and starts a hard turn just in time I am never able to hit him. Anyone has some tips how to adjust your aim properly when you're in a 600 kph+ FW190 and your victim breaks hard?

The trick is don't be suckered into trying to shoot at him for more than a quick snap shot. Most of those guys will give you a full plan form of the plane that will give you a giant target to hit. The smart ones start their turn then level to you only giving that small profile.

I'm sure most know but in case you didn't you have a couple options... I usually go with a High Yo yo unless he starts to circle climb into me in which I will just extent and come back in when I have a better advantage. If he doesn't really see you... Go Low yo yo and keep your speed.

If he sees you and continues his turn which most nooblet spit guys do then attempt to stay out of that circle and cut the circle.

It's real easy to get suckered into a Turn with them and loose all your advantage.

2 options with a spit.

You control the fight with Speed and by seperation in the horizontal...

Or he controls the fight with Cornering and seperating in the vertical.

After a while you will get really good at deflection shooting because that's pretty much all you're afforded with an aware spit driver.
