Can't board back to ship

Don't like using cheats but there is a summon boat cheat that might help
Press "Shift + ~ " ingame,type cheat code and press enter.
Boat = You need to be close to water to spawn ship.

I don't suppose you could get yourself killed with a keeper inhabitted item? With sacrifice you could make troops go mental. The cheats do not seem to work with my version of the game.
