I don't find the Thread... but i've had stutters,too while dogfighting with multiple contacts.
I tried the solution to start Cliffs of Dover with the launcher.exe in the steam Il2 folder and it works much better, more FPS and only sometimes some stutters occurs, but not as often as before. Give it a try  Cheers
