If you didn't know better, you could be lead to believe that this is just an add on for IL2 and not an entirely new game.
"Developer 1C: Maddox Games claim to have put thousands of hours of research and development into Cliffs of Dover, and are promising a whole swag of new aircraft" No mention of a new game Engine, FM, DM etc. As has been discussed many times already, UBI really did make a bad decision with their choice of title.
