I stopped flying them very early on because it felt like cheating (Arcade)
I don't really have a problem with them now. Just accelerate away turn around wait for them to start climbing to do one of those ridiculous turns, and then try and cut them in half with a quick pass... Very satisfying when it works  Personally I have more of a problem with IL's in TB's and DF's. I make a point of killing them first..
