Technically, summoned creatures, be they from a unit ability or a spell, do not count towards the casualty count for either side.
The good news is that you can go ahead and summon all you want with spells and thorns/dryads/demons, send them off to slaughter, and still get no casualties. The bad news is that enemy summons, especially seen in item suppression battles, don't generate more XP. |
