can't find things in config, how to use 6 cores, and any advice on gfx card?

Hello People!

I've been concentrating on work and other things for a few months now, and now when I return to read some about il2 COD, I find that a lot of things have changed. First of all I cannot find "process affinity mask" in my config.ini file, has that been removed or am I looking at the wrong place on my drive? I couldnt see any massive usage of most of my cores, and I wanted to change the process affinity mask for it to use more, but is that not possible now, or is it somehow built in?

My second question is, since I'm using a Mac pro with a 5870 with 1gb of RAM, I have only one option of upgrading to a 6870 with 2gb of ram, I'm happy with the FPS on the 5870, although the grass and other texture qualities are causing stutters, I'm hoping the 6870 with 2gb should get rid of stutters with these options activated, but will I lose a lot of the framerate by changing to a 6870?

The 5870 seems to have 4800mhz instead of 4600 on the 6870, but has 860mhz of something else when the 6870 2gb has 900mhz.

I'm using two 27" LED cinemadisplays on my computer, although in windows I'm only using one.

The third question is: I could upgrade to one 5770+ 5870 on the mac pro without any major modding, but does crossfire get rid of the stutters, or will it still be stuttering cause both cards have 1gb each, or will it be 2gb of available ram for COD?

If i don't write this people are going to ask why I dont buy a PC, so my reason for this is : I spent too much on my mac setup now, I don't have physical room or money for a PC, and I want to use my cinema-displays, and since they are mini-display port, the only cards I can use currently is Radeon 5770, 5870, 6870s
