			There isn't really any specific method (I think I already explained it in one thread). You basically go put the creature in editor, print screen it from a favorable angle and position, paste into a program like Adobe Photoshop, after which you make it fit into a 120x153 pixels image. About the background, you can try cropping and merging one from already existing portraits (which are found in either Data/interface_textures.kfs or Sessions/[session_name]/ses.kfs, bearing the creature's internal name as .png (.kfs can be opened with pretty much any archive opener).
