Can't stand waiting for THIS upgrade!

I know us PC-Pilots have extremely poor tolerance for delays but real life is so much worse!

Two weeks ago I committed six and a half G's to upgrade the outboard motor for my tinnie and now I been told I have to wait another 3 weeks before It'll get out of customs, get shipped to my state and get it fitted! I was originally told "Two weeks" - be sure! (I'm not kidding - though it did have a 'mate' thrown in!)

The waiting is absolutly INTOLERABLE! Especially that I just happen to have a few weeks holidays about now and was going to spend a few days running in the motor!

Wow, looks like customs in Australia is just as "efficient" as in the US.

Hey Skoshi you just had holidays didn't you. Sounds like you need to take your mind of your outboard.Maybe you can get the Misses some chocolate the buy a new joystick or something?

Holidays are the 'One' major benefit of working in education!

I smoothed it over with the wife buy buying her a diamond ring (10 years after we got married of course, But you can't rush into these things! )

Guess I'll just have to distract myself getting by online in COD in the wee small hours when the wife and kids are asleep!
