I'd like to see a human german perspective of the air war from WW2.

Yep watched that movie, IMO the only WW2 airwar movie worth watching. It is actually quite good movie.
Don't see such quality airwar movie happen any time soon.

Everything today needs to be extra CGI packed, and of course - sterile.
