Overlapping gray square on screen

Hi everyone,

I bought this game a while back but was unplayable on my rig. I have been itching to play the game and finally recently built myself a new PC.

My issue is that when i play a qickmission for example, in the top left of the screen appear two grey overlapping squares. They are quite large. Probably occupy about 15% of the screen.

Any idea what is causing it? I can play the black death track without it being there but in actual game the square appears.

info window that you created, hold alt and left click near top till it highlights like a windows window and right click and delete...
