A few options
- use console cheat
- hope you find one in a treasure chest during combat (this will not show up in scanner, so you might still have a chance)
- hope you have another pair of old shoes later on
To use console cheat, type in
~ [enter]
then a black input should show up. Type in
"item old_boots"
Check inventory. Wear them and go to Inn in Arlania.
Honestly, it isn't worth it I think since you can't pick Undead, Neutrals, nor Demons. Also, they charge you about 3X more the usual price which might be a problem if you are on Impossible and going for Greedy achievement.
You can always use Sacrifice to bolster the count. Anyway, just some ideas since it isn't the end of the world!
