Map Loot Not Showing Up Anymore

Greetings everyone. I used to be able to see map loot such as crystals, snakes eggs, leadership flags etc as white diamond shapes on the mini-map, but now they are gone. Tried reinstalling (but keeping save games intact) but they are still missing. Anyone knows how to get them back? I don't want to miss out on any potential loot.

NAybe you changed difficulty level? they are only on easy/normal

Depends on difficulty of game
"Easy" and "Normal" - The labels is on the mini-map.
"Hard" and "Impossible" - The labels is not on the mini-map.
