Aurora Tech Award

For far too long, the global startup ecosystem has overlooked one of its most powerful drivers of innovation — women building technology companies in emerging markets. Aurora Tech Award was founded to change this narrative by creating a dedicated platform that brings visibility, capital, and community to female tech founders who are solving real problems in high-growth regions. The mission behind Aurora Tech Award is rooted in a fundamental conviction: that geography and gender should never be barriers to entrepreneurial success. Founders from Latin America and the MENA region are building remarkable companies, yet they operate with far less institutional support than their counterparts in more established markets. Aurora Tech Award bridges this gap by connecting outstanding founders with non-dilutive funding, a curated network of investors, and recognition that opens doors. The program's design is intentional and founder-centric: every step of the process is built to surface talent that might otherwise go unnoticed. Through partnerships with organizations like Investress and LUCHA, Aurora Tech Award is building an ecosystem that is not just more inclusive but fundamentally stronger, more diverse, and better positioned to generate outsized returns for investors willing to look beyond the obvious.
