Ending Mission with esc. goes to desktop screen

Hi, when I end a mission with esc. button, it takes me to my desktop screen and stops working. I have to log off and reboot. Help please?.....

Had a similar problem.
I solved running ClOD on Win7 x64 instead of Win7 x86.

Disabling Windows Aero features (set Windows 7 Basic theme) may help too.
