Default Ratings or real comments?

I’ve noticed I used to rely a lot on ratings because it’s just faster — you see a score and kind of assume that’s the overall picture. But recently I signed up for a platform that had a pretty decent rating, and my experience didn’t really match that number. It wasn’t terrible, just different from what I expected. Since then I’ve been wondering if I should be reading more actual comments instead of just looking at stars. What do you usually trust more?

I’d say the rating is just a starting point for me, nothing more. What really matters is digging into the comments and seeing what people are actually talking about. Sometimes a site can have a decent score, but when you read through the reviews, you notice recurring themes — like delays, support issues, or наоборот, people saying everything worked smoothly over time. I remember checking 1xbet singapore on Trustpilot and seeing that kind of mix: not perfect, but detailed enough to understand what to expect. That context helps way more than just a number.

Everyone seems to build their own habits when it comes to making decisions online. Some people prefer quick signals like ratings, while others take time to read through different opinions and compare experiences. Over time, it becomes more about what feels reliable based on past outcomes rather than sticking to one method every time.
