Probably a noob question

This is probably a noob question but hey, I'm a noob.

I just bought Men of War and I made a Multiplayer Account, but I'm having some trouble with joining games. There are 20-30 games in the lobby right now, and I can join 1, sometimes 0. Why is this? Do I need to download a patch so that I can join games?
