As for the actual US release date I am more inclined to believe Gamestop is correct. The gaming websites you linked do not update those release dates very often, and have no monetary interest on what date the game releases. Gamestop does as does Amazon, but I have no idea why Amazon still has the 15th listed? An EU release on the 4th bodes well for a US release on the 8th. |
Well as long as I've been going to Gamestop, that's how its been handled. I usually don't do online orders, but that is how they do their in-store pickup for as long as I've known. And I wouldn't trust Gamestop on their dates, the only game site I ever frequent much is IGN, and they've always had the correct game date release. Gamespot is OK, but they depend to much on their forumers to get the release dates, rather than get it themselves. Gamespy is just a little branch of IGN so they have the same information.
