I'm playing the game at 2560X1600 with every settings max without any problems.
I'm in Tri-Crossfire (4870X2 + 4870 1GB), but I did try the same settings with only my 4870X2, and the game was also running flawlessly.
So it's a user problem that you have...
Did you try a clean format and re-installing everything?
