I think here you are too optimistic (
...just a few hours of play...). According to my own experiece of flying IL-2 and monitoring the "fighter pilot careers" of my friends it'll take a bit more, but I might have been a little bit pessimistic. I agree that they can fight after few hours of practise, but they'll lose most of their dogfights.
I agree the rest what you say concerning real human pilots of WWII.
