The quest
Find Allies! Then you need the quest
Find Queen Amelie from
Las Ksarind in Arlania. This will trigger the quest
Alliance with the Dwarves. And this should lead to
Grotland.
So your problem is in that chain of quests I think, but it won't be easy to figure out where!
Which of the quests I mention do you have?
