To the OP, maybe you are used to the HoMM spell called "Cure." That game has Cure to remove debuffs on you and Dispel to remove all effects regardless of positive/negative. There were also "mass" versions of both.
It's more efficient to have them combined in KB, but sometimes I miss having that cure spell.
