Default A short story about an old ZG76 Bf-110

A very short story and a request for a skin in the future.
For many many of us old guys who love this sim & Il-2 before it,one of the most memorable 110 skin would be this one found in the1958 edition of William Green's book,Famous fighters of World War Two.It was airbrushed by one of the best profile painters that ever came along Gert G.W.Heumann,who did many of the 3 views for the Famous Fighters & Famous Bomber series of books. What made it so memorable is that for many of us it was the first time we'd seen or heard of the sleek deadly looking twin engined fighter. Most of us only knew about WW-2 planes that had been made into models at that time : 1958.( Additional surprises were found at the end of that book in the form of Me-262's & 163's..We had no idea-BTW I was 12 at the time,so that says a lot...) We would have to wait until Airfix models became more available in the States before we could build 110's in 1/72nd scale.
Anyway it would be a deam come true if someone could do a skin of this old bird. Its history?Who knows ! ?One of the most maddening thing about the William Green Books is that not one word was written about camouflage & markings or the history of the featured aircraft...sigh...we'dhave to wait for Karl Reis 's (sp?) books for that.
