Of course. The millions of tons of hot charged particles the sun throws our way lately can't have anything to do with the weather on Earth. I mean, who cares that we could see the Aurora Borealis all the way to Texas and the jet stream was broken into pieces from the strong solar bombardment. This can't have anything to do with the weather on this minuscule silly rock.
It's all about this silly little creature called the human. We make and break the weather on earth and in the univers. Who cares about the power of the sun, or the other strange cosmic forces pulling things around our rock. It's all about the superpowers of this silly little creature.
