Devolution does as a noun does exist.
Devolution, de-evolution, or backward evolution is the notion that a species can change into a more "primitive" form.

On the other hand I expect some adjustments for sitting in offices 8 hours a day in the long run, instead of running through the woods catching prey.

Btw, if men will lose its hair has still to be seen. Recent studies suggest men has still hair for the very banal reason that it makes life harder for bugs, mosquitos and other leeches having a go at you. Else we already would have lost it.
I dare say even the most rich and sophisticated/intelligent people on this planet will be thankful to keep it for bit longer unless they want to eridacte all insect life.

Nice theory, doesnt work tho.
A lot of parasites and bacteria rely on hair being present to survive. Ticks on the other hand dont care if there is hair or not.
(I only have hair on my head an legs, everything else is shaved, first thing you will notice is you'll need a lot less deo...)

What's left? The mosquitos.
I think my hair on arms and legs didnt change much over the past 10 years, yet, at some point the flies virtually stopped bitting me. Maybe they dont like my "nutritious" blood - their offspring probably would die instantly if exposed to it, lol.
On the other hand there are the blacks who suffer a lot under mosquitoes in Africa in other regions of the world. Take a close look at their hair, specially on arms and legs and explain how they can keep away those tiny buggers.
