So you bought a product without actually checking the terms of use first, and if there were any catches with it? And more specifically: A software-product? Sorry, the cake is all over your face. I didn't bother buying the boxed version, since I had the brains to actually check around
before I bought CLoD to see what methods of distribution were available.
Nobody held a gun to your head to get you to order CLoD. Nobody forced you, or tricked you into buying it. You bought the software of your own volition, and you can hardly blame 1C for not checking the details, which, as they say, is where the devil (in this case Steam) is.
Caveat Emptor, my friend. Look it up, learn it and understand it.
