Well, if THAT is the case, then, really, the micromanagement of ammo comments, should be made, but, there is a fair "workaround": simply have your supply truck move around the back of your front lines, and have your men "fill up" whenever is necessary. This is good news, and, in a way, kinda realistic.

Excellent to know about the engineering truck, too.

And, yes, bad news to drive around with your men in the supply truck too close to the front line! LOL.

I would think that using the INF re-supply trucks are the way to ship around units, if you wanted the speed of moving troops behind your lines.

Thanks again, Trotskygrad, you are improving my gameplay and enjoyment, by telling me these things.

actually what I usually do is I offload the contents of the truck to the nearest tank/halftrack that's supporting the troops, and have them stock up from there. That way fire support can br provided and the troops have a nearby store of ammo. Halftracks for troop movement are much safer in general, since 2 riflemen can't ruin your day by shooting out the wheels.

If it doesn't *explode* in combat (eg, if there's still a hull that isn't burnt out), you can still recover ammunition and weapons from that after it's been knocked out.
