More sounds!!!
Ambient nature and other sounds like wind or traffic, distant sounds of maybe mechanics working in a nearby hangar etc and some more lively objects to place around the airfield. Maybe some civilian vehicles would be nice too - not every officer can afford a Skoda Armoured car.
