				 Game Freeze

New computer so I can finally run COD and ROF. I'm having a problem with the game freezing. After installing the game, I tried the Spit free fly mission over the Channel. Everything was fine (holy cow does that cockpit look great!) until I just got to within visual range of the English Coast. The game froze. Unable to exit/ctrl alt del/alt tab...nothing. Tried the 109 free fly mission, and each time it froze about 5 seconds into the mission. I put the settings at Medium for everything...nothing changed. Here are my computer specs and dxdiag info (condensed version):------------------

I'm having a similar problem with Rise of Flight, so I'm pretty sure I'm just royally screwing something up here...

For what it's worth, IL2 1946 runs fine on this computer. For those with similar computer set-ups, people who have encountered the same problem or anyone who is smart on this stuff, I'd really appreciate any help you can give. Thanks.
