Jugdriver, I went from AMD 1090T to Intel 200K not so long ago and can say that the 2500K is a real bang for the buck. Not that the AMD CPU's are bad, but Intel without doubt holds the crown at the moment. I have used both brands over the years so I have no tint in my glasses when looking at them
If you checked my conf.ini there I did lower the shadow setting from 5 to 4 without any discernable difference in IQ but a slight bump in performance. I hope also that the new patch will help us all and soon enough the beta should come..or so we all hope
I could try OC my CPU but again not sure if the PSU is enough as OC sure makes Wattage go skyrocketing
Maybe a few MHz would not hurt, just to see if it has any effect. But again the patch is close so maybe after it has been released I will get into OC..if needed at all.
Driver wise I went to 12.2 Pre-Certified ones and they are smooth ones. 8.6 ones sometimes dropped the PCIe to 1x from 16X! Not good on FPS I can tell you
Even then there was very little stutter but sure some 30-40FPS is not playable in my eyes
