I agree with Tacoma,

I have done a lot of research into buying a new mid range PC that will handle COD with ease.... And the spec I decided on and ordered is:

INTEL Core i5 2500K Quad Core (3.3Ghz) - Can be overclocked nicely
ASUS P8Z68-V LX Motherboard (NEW Z68 CHIPSET)
CORSAIR 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz RAM
ATI HD 6950 2048MB (With VGA, DVI & HDMI)

Like Tacoma said, the 2500k is a very good chip with some extremely impressive bench speed tests!

Cost of my PC was a little over $1300

Paid a little over $1000 USD and it was worth every penny! I highly recommend going with the 2500k.. what a beast!
