Regarding the terrain, most of the complainers come from Blighty! They live in the darned country! I can't see what is so difficult about understanding that. People who have never flown over England, or who have an opinion based solely around what people have told them, will always have a warped view. Discount those people, focus on those who are experienced and have posted tangible information, supported by pictures or research, and the answer is pretty clear.
