I have just started using complex engine management. I can only start the bf109, stuka and spitfire.
With all these planes, I turn on the fuel cock, turn on the magnitos then I put the throttle at about 5-10% and take off. Taking off isnt a problem, but about a min or so after i get off the ground my engine overheats, the RPM drops to near zero and my cockpit gets covered in oil. I have tried opening the radiator, same problem.
Maybe I need to mess around with the mixture and pitch controls? I honestly dont know what they are.
Can anyone help me stay in the air for more than a minute without losing my engine?
