It's just like it's supposed to be. At low RPM you only get the idling sound of the engine. When you advance the throttle the supercharger also picks up RPM and that is a turbine of sorts, so you get that high pitched whine sound. As your speed increases you also reach a point where the sound of the propeller and airflow partially obscures the engine sound, but that is not part of your video because it happens at somewhat high speeds (have a nice dive until you reach 500-600km/h or so and you'll hear it

I think that they got the 109 sound spot on, the DB601 engine is well known for its supercharger whine.
In other words, it might take you some time getting used to it but there's nothing wrong with your installation or sound card.
