Just a friendly heads-up. Comparisons, argumentation and tangential discussions are ok as long as:
1) The original thread is not dragged off-topic
2) It's not done to gain leverage in "point-scoring" matches
3) People remain open to different opinions and don't try to pass theirs as absolute fact over everyone else's
To cut a long story short, if this is pulled off-topic and turns into a slagging match i'll be moving the relevant posts to the arguments and speculation megathread, along with any posts that quote or answer them directly in order to completely prune the inflammatory material off the thread.
Argue your point, but remain respectful of the OP's intention in creating the thread (ie, he wanted to discuss the new driver's use in relation to CoD), take some time to use proper language and try not to bait, provoke, or offend other posters.
If one is offended by different opinions and interpretations of known facts to the point that one feels compelled to answer back in a provocative or otherwise non-constructive manner, then open internet forums are not a good place for one to frequent.
My job is to ensure everyone can have their say, as long as their say is not out of tune with the scope and purposes of this community and forum and not attacking the opinions of others or limiting their ability to express their opinion, in which case i'm forced to intervene. And i will.
