"Fall_Pink, how can a 1gb GPU be enough if this sim is VRAM hungry? I'm not clear on what you mean. Are you suggesting that some options have to be set to a lower level? I'm asking what aspects of gameplay are hardest on VRAM. I used to think something like flying low over London at high speed might bring things to a crawl. But of course I'm just guessing. Meanwhile the AMD 6970 still looks good to me"
1 Gb is enough if you don't set graphic options to very high/orginal but just to high and lower some other stuff. Buildings details, roads and grass should also be lowered or turned off, but even then CoD still looks very good.
If you like to have all graphicoptions turned on and set to max, I'd recommend a fast 2 Gb vid card, 4 to 6 Gb ram and a reasonably high end quad core cpu e.g. i5 2500 or AMD equiv.
